Maple Grove Elementary School Fall Festival
Come celebrate Maple Grove Elementary and its community with their biggest community gathering–Fall Fest! With concessions, pumpkin sales, bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, student entrepreneur booths, and more, it’s the most fun you’ll have all season!! DOP’s Sweet Spot will be there serving up snoball and ice cream treats from 3pm-6pm, see you there!
EDGE Soccer Club - Stenger Fall League
Colorado EDGE Soccer Club is committed to providing a fun, challenging, and development-focused soccer experience for players of all ages.
Their age-appropriate training programs emphasize player development while ensuring each child is challenged at the right level for their stage of growth. Taking pride in creating a positive and rewarding environment for players, coaches, and families throughout Arvada and the surrounding communities.
DOP’s Sweet Spot will be serving up New Orleans-style snoballs and soft-serve ice cream treats (plus coffee options for those early morning games) on Saturdays throughout the fall season. See you there!
Food Truck Wednesdays at Anschutz Medical Campus
Food Truck Wednesdays at Anschutz Medical Campus. Food trucks surround the courtyard at Bonfils Circle. Sit back and relax with dozens of food truck options. Also be sure to participate in the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center’s Chase, an interactive social media treasure hunt designed to get you moving, exploring, and winning! This campus-wide game invites students, staff, faculty, hospital affiliates, and community members to join the fun, stay active, and discover hidden prizes provided by campus food truck vendors! Lakewood’s Cider Days Festival
Lakewood’s beloved Cider Days festival returns to Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park on Oct. 3–4, marking its 50th celebration with a blend of food, family fun and farm history. Tickets go on sale Aug. 13, and early purchase is strongly encouraged!
This long‑standing community tradition celebrates Colorado’s agricultural roots and the region’s apple‑growing heritage. Guests of all ages can enjoy two full days of hands‑on activities, artisan vendors, live entertainment and classic fall fun.
New and ongoing activities
This milestone year introduces a full‑scale apple‑launching trebuchet, adding a new burst of excitement to the festival’s mix of historic demonstrations and modern attractions. Annual favorites return, including antique cider pressing, blacksmithing demos, tractor pulls and kid‑friendly activities across the festival grounds.
Visitors can explore historic structures, enjoy continuous live music, browse local artisans and sample seasonal food and ciders from regional producers. Families will also find wagon rides, a miniature train, trick pigs and interactive exhibits that bring Colorado’s agricultural story to life.

Foster Dual Language PK-8 is an option school that provides a unique opportunity that brings together Spanish and English speaking students in an effort to develop full bilingualism in both groups. Bel-Aire Neighborhood Block Party! Fresh Fest’s goal: bring the neighborhood together. Not for any lofty reason. Just because community is worth celebrating, and the people of Bel-Aire are worth knowing. This event is open to the public, all are welcome - whether you live in the Bel Aire neighborhood or not!
There will be live music, a dog parade, yard games tournament, chalk art, and more! It takes a neighborhood to throw a party like this. We're glad you're part of ours.

Once named the "Carnation Capital of the World", Wheat Ridge embraces its heritage through this spectacular event. In 2024, our 55th annual festival, Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival will be filled with food, music, culture and fun for people of all ages! Enjoy live music, parade, carnival, fireworks, car show, fine arts show, food events, vendor fair and MORE!
The festival is produced by The Carnation Festival, Inc. - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The City of Wheat Ridge sponsors the event along with local businesses and organizations. The festival raises funds for local service clubs, community organizations, and school groups. Many volunteers pitch in to make this event happen each year.

Enjoy a FREE outdoor, family-friendly concerts at Anderson Park!
Children’s Show: 10:00 until 10:45 a.m.
Evening Concert: 6:30 until 8 p.m. - The Williams Brothers Band - Classic Rock, Outlaw Country, Blues, East Bay Funk, and High Desert Americana.
There will be food trucks at all evening performances so you can enjoy sweet and savory eats while you watch the show!

Frederick Colorado’s Chainsaws & Chuckwagons 2026
The 14th annual Chainsaws & Chuckwagons event in Frederick, CO! Only the most masterful chainsaw carvers can turn giant logs into beautiful works of art, and we’re bringing them to Frederick to compete against each other! The carving competition will take place July 15-18, 2026 with family entertainment and food trucks (Chuckwagons)! Hour-long quick carves will be auctioned off on the spot on select days of the event.
