Carnation Festival is a celebration of the Wheat Ridge, Colorado community since the city's incorporation in 1969. Once named the "Carnation Capital of the World", Wheat Ridge embraces its heritage through this spectacular event. In 2024, our 55th annual festival, Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival will be filled with food, music, culture and fun for people of all ages! Enjoy live music, parade, carnival, fireworks, car show, fine arts show, food events, vendor fair and MORE!

The festival is produced by The Carnation Festival, Inc. - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The City of Wheat Ridge sponsors the event along with local businesses and organizations. The festival raises funds for local service clubs, community organizations, and school groups. Many volunteers pitch in to make this event happen each year.
